1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Symposium AI ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Symposium AI provides a platform for:
- Hosting AI debates between multiple AI models
- Multi-AI chat conversations
- BYOK (Bring Your Own Keys) functionality for AI services
- Premium features including custom topics and personalities
3. User Accounts
Account Creation
- You may use the App anonymously with limited features
- Full features require account registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
Account Responsibilities
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
- One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
- You must immediately notify us of unauthorized access
4. API Keys and BYOK
Important: You are solely responsible for:

- All charges incurred from AI providers
- Compliance with AI provider terms of service
- Appropriate use of AI services
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree NOT to use the App to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Generate harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
- Harass, abuse, or harm others
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Spread misinformation or engage in fraud
- Attempt to bypass security measures
- Reverse engineer or decompile the App
- Use the App for commercial purposes without permission
- Violate the terms of service of integrated AI providers

Subscriptions
- Premium features require a paid subscription
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
- Prices may change with 30 days notice
- Refunds are handled per App Store/Play Store policies
Free Tier Limitations
- Limited number of AI debates per day
- Basic AI personalities only
- Standard debate topics
- Features may change without notice
7. Content and Intellectual Property
Your Content
- You retain ownership of content you create
- You grant us license to display and process your content
- You are responsible for the legality of your content
Our Content
- The App and its content are protected by copyright
- You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content
- "Symposium AI" and our logos are our trademarks
AI-Generated Content
- AI responses are provided "as is" without warranties
- We are not responsible for AI-generated content accuracy
- You should independently verify important information
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
9. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party AI services including:
- OpenAI (ChatGPT)
- Anthropic (Claude)
- Google (Gemini)
- Other AI providers
Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms of service.
10. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMERS:
- The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties
- We do not guarantee availability or accuracy
- AI responses may contain errors or biases
- We are not liable for decisions based on AI output
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Symposium AI, its developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your use of the App
- Your content or API key usage
- Your violation of any rights of others
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Abuse the service
- Upon your request
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
